Overlooking the green expanses of Parque Eduardo VII, the Sana Rex Hotel has a rather plain modern facade which belies the inviting atmosphere inside. Here, false wooden ceilings and fine marble floors - part of a complete refurbishment programme in June 1996 - enhance an environment which has transformed the building into one of Lisbon's best three star hotels. A spacious lobby with cocktail bar, lounge and well known restaurant "Cozinha d'el Rei" constitutes the social focal point. The 68 rooms are bright and pleasant and all equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, radio, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, safe and some with balcony.
