Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Porto. Accommodation at Hotel HF Ipanema Park (4 stars) or similar (2 nights)
Day 2 – Take the day to discover the city aboard the Blue Bus. The ticket allows you to visit Porto’s most iconic sites, such as the city’s downtown area (a Unesco Heritage site) and the famous Ribeira quarter.
Finally, you will cross the river and visit Gaia’s wine cellars. Learn about the history of Port Wine and wrap up with a tasting of these famous wines.
Day 3 – Departure to Curia. Accommodation at Curia Palace Hotel Spa & Golf (4 stars) or similar (1 night).
Day 4 – On the way to Lisbon, you can take the opportunity to visit the ‘city of doctors’, as Coimbra is known – home to Portugal’s first University.
Arrival in Lisbon. Accommodation at Hotel HF Fénix Lisboa (4 stars) or similar (3 nights).
Days 5 & 6 – Days for exploring the capital, a cosmopolitan city best known as the city of the seven hills.
Use the 24-hour ‘Viva Viagem’ ticket to visit Belém (Jerónimos’ Monastery, a Monument to the Discoveries and Belém Tower) and/or Parque das Nações (Oceanarium). Take the opportunity to visit São Jorge Castle and enjoy the stunning views over the Tejo river.
Day 7 – Departure from Lisbon towards Albufeira, Algarve. Accommodation at Alpinus Hotel (4 stars) or similar (3 nights).
Days 8 & 9 – Days for exploring the Algarve, its beautiful beaches, and its delicious fish and seafood.
Day 10 – End of trip / Departure.
